Technically great but...

686 Waterproof Slapshot Hoodie

Warm enough and dry enough for most days, but its still a sweatshirt and not really built for those super nasty days. If you want something that'll be good for a casual in-town trip, or quick outings to the hill on a day with some flurries, this is solid. But if you can only afford one jacket, get something a bit more dedicated to keeping you warm and dry in all conditions.

Glove link is a nice touch, but I'd like if it there was a way to cinch/secure the waist. A kangaroo pouch/zip-up pockets would also be a major upgrade. Not having these isn't the end of the world though.

Still a really strong option for the price, and I think it will end up being my go-to for spring skiing and sunny days.
