Altra Women's Lone Peak 9 Waterproof Low Trail Running Shoes - black/gray

I am a fan of Altra shoes because of the wider (than most) running shoes, which I need due to a bunion. I was in need of a waterproof shoe for an upcoming trip and ran across Tactics site and the shoe was on sale, even better. The fit is great, the wear is very comfortable, the look, although rugged, is still stylish. Fortunately, we've had quite a bit of rain the last few days so I was able to test the waterproof efficacy and the water actually beaded up on the shoe and did not soak thru. The fit is true to size, I wear and ordered an 8.5 and it fits well. Don't hesitate if you're looking for a waterproof, comfortable running shoe with a wider toe box. Also, the shipping was fast and was packaged very well.

Altra Women's Lone Peak 9 Waterproof Low Trail Running Shoes - dark blue

I paid $170 at another store last year before a big walking tour. Unbelievably Comfortable & solidly waterproof!

So when I found them at Tactics for HALF PRICE = I bought 2 more pairs!
The roomy space for toes is amazing.
I use good bamboo socks with them which means there is zero foot sweat after a 12 hour walking day.
Theyre great & Thats it!
