Etnies brings you Chris Joslin's first pro model shoe. Chris designed these shoes to withstand the abuse of skateboarding day in and day out. These shoes feature the Michelin outsoles which last three times longer than standard skate shoe soles. Underneath the durable single piece toe is a hidden toe cap that goes from the toe box, all the way past the ollie area, ensuring a long life of the shoe. These shoes are just like Chris Joslin's skating, unstoppable.

Pro Model
  • Chris Joslin
  • Cupsole
Hidden Toe Cap
  • A toe cap hidden under the upper material extends from the toe box all the way through the ollie area, giving you maximum durability and longevity even after wearing through the upper material.
  • Pro Foam 1 Insole
  • One Piece Toe
  • Michelin Outsole Technology
  • STI Evolution™ Foam
  • Padded Collar And Tongue
  • Inset Eyelets For Lace Protection

Cupsole - Durable and shock-absorbing to provide the best impact protection against hard landings. Cupsoles generally last longer than a vulcanized sole but don't provide as much flexibility and board feel right out of the box.

Pro Foam 1 Insole - Pro Foam is the next step up from the Foam Lite insole and provides added cushioning and support while skating. These PU foam based insoles also provide great comfort. Pro Foam 1 is made of single density PU foam.

One Piece Toe - A one piece toe allows the upper material to wear evenly, without worrying about blowing out a seam

Michelin Outsole Technology - Using a custom formula from Michelin tire manufacturer, this outsole lasts three times longer than a standard outsole without sacrificing grip or boardfeel.

STI Evolution™ Foam - STI Evolution™ Foam replaces EVA, PU, and heavy rubber with a durable, impact resistant, and ultra lightweight cushioning foam that can be used as a single solution for the midsole and outsole of skate shoes.

Etnies Joslin Skate Shoes - white/black
Super durable and comfortable. Recently got back into skating and found myself burning through shoes every few weeks due to wear from relearning kick/heel flips. I've been skating these daily for two weeks and you can barely see any wear. Takes a few sessions to break in, but once they're broken in they have feel comparable to vulc shoes

Etnies Joslin Skate Shoes - navy/white
Much more substantial than many vulcanized shoes, these provide protection for your foot and the soles are super durable. the soles do sacrifice some grippiness and boardfeel vs vulc shoes, but they are way more durable and protect your foot much better. They are as good as you would expect given that Joslin skates them.

Etnies Joslin Skate Shoes
I got these last summer in june and i just wore them as casual shoes until around October 2019. Thats when i started skating and i started to perfect my ollies and take them down small gaps. I only know ollies, front shuvits, and heelflips, so im constantly doing the same tricks. Ollies and front shuvits barely do anything to them. When i started to heelflip with them, i noticed that the stitching around the collar was pretty shrimpy. I blew the stitches open after about 2 weeks, but it didnt make it uncomfortable to skate and do heelflips. Even if these shoes blow out the still hold up. Id say this is a good shoe if youre just starting to skate. It lasted me from october 2019 to May 2020.
