The G-Slides were built from the ground up to improve roll speed, slide-ability and durability. They have a low profile and feel at home on any type of deck set-up. Push, slap, grind, bomb and slide the hell out of them. Yes, they slide.

Great, functional cruiser wheel

Powell Peralta G-Slides Skateboard Wheels
I have tried other cruiser wheels (hot juice, super juice, atf's, etc.) and I am usually not a fan of softer ~80a wheels that are very common to use as cruiser/filmer wheels. Too soft for my taste. If you're a park/street skater who's used to skating harder wheels these are the best cruiser wheels to get. Dont believe reviews saying they aren't slidey, if you can't slide these at moderate speed then you need to get your powerslide technique up. They will slide but will just catch a little faster than harder wheels obviously. I find the slide pretty smooth and responsive overall so the name fits. They are heavy no doubt but on a 9in deck with indy 169s I can still easily ollie up curbs and you can totally still kick/heelflip it. That's with the 59mm ones too. If you're looking to really shred your cruiser setup and not just use it to go to the liquor/beer store or look cool then these are the wheels to get. Really fun for when you just wanna cruise and hill bomb around town all day. If you're gonna take these to the park you will be disappointed because they will be slow but they excel on rough streets and are still soft enough that they are super quiet and feel smooth on even the roughest surfaces. I do wish they would make a slightly harder version of this wheel but for now these really are the best cruiser wheels I've tried.

Slides, but only for a week or two

Powell Peralta G-Slides Skateboard Wheels - white (85a)
These are great semi soft cruiser wheels and they do, as advertised, slide but only for a couple of weeks before they get grippy and unslideable like normal cruiser wheels.
As plain old cruiser wheels, they are pretty good. They don’t chip like the a Rough riders do and they are comfortable enough on semi rough surfaces (though I prefer Oj mini juices in 78a for super rough). They are fast enough and get the job done.

Are these good for bowl and ramp riding?

These will function on a ramp or in a bowl, but they are softer wheels meant more for cruising and traversing rough terrain.
