The Burton Step On® Split Splitboard Bindings combine the simplicity of the Step On® system with the efficiency of the Hitchhiker system for lightning-fast transitions in the backcountry. Built on the same easy-to-use Spark Tesla mounting system as the Hitchhiker, the bindings mount quickly and feature the Step On® system for a clean, simple boot-to-binding interface that gives you hard-charging response on the descent. Additionally, the Negative Lean hi-back design maximizes your stride on the skin track and locks securely for riding, ensuring less fussing and more time riding.

Key Features

Toe Hooks - These loops, found on the toe side of each Step On baseplate, act as a secondary retention system, in concert with the Toe Cleats. An integrated living hinge allows riders to engage and exit from the baseplate in one single motion.

Heel Buckle - Working in concert with the Heel Cleat, as the primary retention system, the Heel Buckle is designed with the same functionality of a ratchet buckle, and features Smooth Glide™ technology to ensure easy engagement.

Release Lever - The Release Lever is a low-profile, easy-access lever found on the heelcup of the binding. Pull the lever up, let it go, and the boot is released, allowing the rider to step out. The handle automatically resets after you step out, allowing riders to step back on instantaneously.

Warranty

Lifetime Warranty (Limited, See Details) - Covered under manufacturer lifetime guarantee against breakage of the baseplate or heelcup along with defects in materials or workmanship. This lifetime warranty DOES NOT cover broken bindings due to abuse or neglect, damage caused by any modification done outside the manufacturer's facility, or lost parts due to lack of hardware maintenance.

Burton's Flex Slider hinged strap IS covered under their Lifetime Warranty.

Highbacks, other straps, ratchets and other binding components are not included under lifetime warranty.
