Overview
Hopefully your credit card earns frequent flyer miles because you'll be spending more time in the air than on the ground if you get this board. It's a pow-seeker meant for any mid level to seasoned rider. This board can carve hard through groomers, but most of the design is for loft and lift. Because of its directional camber, you can get über high ollies while floating through fields of powder due to a shovel shaped nose sitting in the rocker section of the profile. To help you out, and transfer your energy to the right spots in the board, a Carbon I-Beam™ acts like a responsive whip while the squeezebox core uses geometry to build and release pressure for pop and stability simultaneously. And you can't forget about the TRIAX™ fiberglass giving this board even more responsiveness. So look for pillow tops, for boxes, for cliffs, and any other features the mountain has to offer as you embrace what it must be like to be a flying squirrel.

Key Features

Directional Camber Profile - Burton's directional camber profile puts a camber profile at the back with rocker at the nose, allowing for a shorter and more maneuverable board. By moving the camber back the transition into rocker naturally lifts the board at the nose, providing you with a more floaty ride in powder and allowing you to maintain momentum and stability on those deep powder days.

Squeezebox™ Core Profile - Squeezebox is a patent-pending technology that transfers energy outward from under your feet, energizing the tip and tail for added snap when executing a turn and ollieing. Thinner core sections underfoot transitions to thicker, more powerful areas between and outside your feet for a more stable board that can be powered up and manipulated with less effort.

3 Year Warranty - Covered under manufacturer warranty for 3 years from the time of purchase! Warranty includes structural defects only and DOES NOT cover impact damage, abuse, misuse or normal wear and tear expected from aggressive riding.

Sorry folks, but bashing your board on a rock or rail does not qualify as a "manufacturer's defect" and will not be honored.

The Channel® - The Channel is an exclusive Burton mounting system using a central spine for virtually endless binding adjust-ability. Introduced in 2011, Burton has widened The Channel along with equipping it with the industry standard hardware for enhanced connection to your snowboard and further compatibility with all Burton bindings along with new compatibility for select competitor's bindings such as Union, Forum and many others (Channel-compatible disc may need to be purchased separately for some brands).

The Channel allows you to micro-adjust stance width, angle, and toe-to-heel centering with ease while at the same time dispersing energy for added rebound and snap.

Core

Super Fly II™ 700g Core - Stronger and lighter woods target specific areas of the core to provide pop, strength, and reduced weight.

Dualzone™ EGD™ (Engineered Grain Direction) - The wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edges on two continuous zones, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core, for consistent edge-hold and added strength.

Infinite™ Ride Construction - A Burton exclusive technology allows their boards to maximize pop and strength by overbuilding the board for you. Whether you choose to ride Spring-loaded, Rocker, or Camber, rest assured that with Infinite Ride your board will maintain its flex, pop, and feel from the first day forward, season after season.

Laminates

Triax Fiberglass - Versatile flex and response for everything from mini to mega shred

Carbon I-Beam™ Stringers - This ultra-light carbon backbone increases pop and longitudinal snap.

Base

Sintered WFO Base - Infusing a specially formulated wax deep into the pores of this extra-absorbent, high-density sintered material results in an ultra-durable base that stays Wide F!#@ing Open all season in any condition.

Details

Pro-Tip™ - A tapered tip and tail thickness that reduces swing weight for easier mobility.

Stainless Steel Edges - Get superior defense against rust and corrosion for edges that remain razor-sharp.

Balanced Freeride Geometry - Balanced Freeride Geometry ends the debate between directional or twin board shapes with setback camber and sidecuts that are centered on your stance to create a twin freestyle feel when riding flat base. On edge it turns tight and quick with the float and prowess expected from a directional deck.

Super Sap® Epoxy - Resin formulated with bio-based materials, reducing the carbon footprint by 50% over conventional petroleum-based epoxies. Less oil consumption means even less of a carbon footprint per board.
