The Burton Freestyle bindings are a great choice for beginning all-mountain riders and park riders of all skill levels because they are easy to setup, affordable, offer a forgiving flex, and are extremely cushioned which helps you out on tough landings. The Re:Flex Cushioning System sits under the entire binding, reducing general leg fatigue, and the Polycarbonate baseplate is extremely lightweight, and durable. This combined with Single-Component Hi-Back Construction gives a uniform soft flex from your toes through your ankles so you can preload your tricks with ease and make adjustments on the fly without surprises. When you need quick transition from your toe to heel edge, use the MicroFLAD™ forward lean adjustment and see how responsive these can be. And as part of Burton's continued progression, Smooth Glide Buckle Technology means clicking in is easier than ever because of the materials and ratchet design so you can spend less time fiddling and more time riding.

Key Features

Re:Flex™ Baseplate - With a minimized, cored baseplate and Living Hinge disc, Re:Flex dramatically improves board flex and feel, reduces weight, and opens the doors for all sorts of cushioning options.

Re:Flex increases board flex and feel by a whopping 71% for more natural taste and texture than that of traditional disc bindings, all in a package that's compatible with any platter, including 4-Hole insert patterns, Burton 3D hole patterns and the latest generation of The Channel.

The minimized, cored baseplate reduces weight by 20%, while a Living Hinge disc delivers heaps of flex and allows for all sorts of cushioned toppings.

Single Component Hi-Back Construction - The simplicity of a one-piece hi-back means immediate response. Using Burton's book of material secrets, they can manipulate the overall flex profile—from buttery to responsive.

Canted Hi-Back Design - This ergonomic design follows the natural contours of your left and right legs to maximize control.

MicroFLAD™ Forward Lean Adjuster - The higher the forward lean angle on your Hi-Backs, the quicker your heel-edge turns. Crank 'em forward for icy hits in the pipe, or back 'em off for jibbing.

MicroFLAD™ features mind-blowing, tool-free, micro-adjustability for even easier adjusting than the FLAD.

Reactstrap™ Ankle Strap - Minimized Superstrap Construction, 3D Curved Triple Axis Spine, Ultra-Responsive Enduro Padding and improved wrap for constant contact with boot.

Smooth Glide™ Buckles - Polished, chrome-plated aluminum and lightweight polycarbonate levers give you season after season of buttery smooth and reliable ratcheting power. Designed and built by Burton, not some shady supplier.

Single Component Base Construction - One material throughout creates consistent response and feel for all-terrain domination.

FullBED Cushioning System - FullBED baseplate cushioning offers a full coverage, cushioned platform that maximizes comfort while minimizing fatigue. Anchored to the baseplate at the heel, its stealth trap door design lifts at the heel on Disc bindings and on the toe on Re:Flex bindings, making it easy to access the mounting hardware.

Metal-Free Construction - Why no metal? Burton refuses to ride metal because it's too rigid, too heavy, and too likely to bend and distort. Instead, Burton crafts their bindings out of a variety of other materials, each engineered to satisfy specific riding styles.

Extra Features

Re-Ground Materials to Reduce Waste - Burton believes that being environmentally and sustainably conscious is the best business practice out there. That is why they integrate recycled, re-ground material into the quality products they make everyday, which means less garbage in the landfill and more premium Burton gear for you.

Lifetime Warranty (Limited, See Details) - Covered under manufacturer lifetime guarantee against breakage of the baseplate or heelcup along with defects in materials or workmanship. This lifetime warranty DOES NOT cover broken bindings due to abuse or neglect, damage caused by any modification done outside the manufacturer's facility, or lost parts due to lack of hardware maintenance.

Burton's Flex Slider hinged strap IS covered under their Lifetime Warranty.

Highbacks, other straps, ratchets and other binding components are not included under lifetime warranty.

Burton Freestyle Snowboard Bindings - cobalt blue
A decently built set of bindings that wont break your wallet or your carves. Bought these to replace an ageing set I have had since the 11-12 season. I would say good for park and trail riding.

Burton Freestyle Snowboard Bindings
I purchased the 2016 version to go on a Burton Clash. So far the flex seems to be spot on for that board, which is really what you want in a binding. Straps ratchet and release smoothly. Great bang for the buck!
