Downhill - A longboard designated for downhill is crafted specifically for high speeds. Get your full face helmet and head to the hills.
Mounting Style
Drop Through - Drop Through boards lower your center of gravity giving you a more responsive and stable ride.
Deck Profile
Standard - Standard decks are the most predictable and some swear they break-in better than other profiles. Great for any skill level.
Deck Shape
Directional - Directional decks may have a dramatically asymmetrical shape or just a slight taper which can be great for anything from mild cruising to intense downhill; but of course it's all just preference.
Deck Features
Cutouts - Cutouts around the wheels provide the extra space required to prevent wheelbite.
Concave
Mild Concave - Most longboards have a mild concave to give your feet natural curves to lock into. Choosing the right concave can be tough because it's all personal preference but mild concave is always a good place to start.
Deck Thickness
7-Ply - This is the standard for a reason; 7 ply construction gives you a deck that is durable, sturdy and poppy without breaking the bank.
Trucks
Slant 180mm Inverted Trucks - Slant trucks feature high-grade alloy construction and hardware with reversible 50°/54° hangers. All Slant trucks are guaranteed for life.
Wheels
Dusters 71mm 78a Wheels - A good cruiser wheel but more ideal for longboarding. You'll be able to ride over rough surfaces without any issues.
Bearings
ABEC 7 Bearings - ABEC 7 bearings are more precise than ABEC 5 bearings and are polished to a higher tolerance. A higher tolerance bearing provides faster wheel rotation and less wear over time.
