This shoe was made up to Andrew Reynolds' super high standards and is a true cupsole with a pour in G6 polyurethane midsole. A pour-in midsole means there's better bonding and flexibility at the bottom of the shoe, this in turn gives you the boardfeel of a vulc shoe with the support and cushioning of a cupsole. Then to top it all off, the toecap features a double-double sided layer of hot melt that bonds the panels together for an incredibly durable finish to this incredibly durable shoe.
Cupsole - Cupsoles are durable, well-cushioned and provide the best impact protection against hard landings. The sole consists of a single rubber layer, reinforced with glue then stitched to the upper. Cupsoles generally last longer than vulcanized soles, but don't provide as much flexibility and board feel right out of the box.
G6 Pour-In Polyurethane Midsole - A pour-in midsole means the foam is poured right into the cupsole in its uncompressed liquid state to stimulate better bonding and flexibility to the bottom of the shoe.
Double Sided Therma Welded Toe Cap - This bonds the panels together to help prevent blowouts and add significant durability to the shoe for a longer life.
Elastic Tongue-Centering Straps - Keeps the tongue from sliding down sideways while you're skating.
Triangle Tread - Emerica's Triangle Tread pattern provides maximum grip for more confident skating.
