Vulcanized - Vulc shoes are light, flexible and break in quickly. These don't provide as much foot protection as cupsoles, but they are preferred if youre looking for good board feel in a shoe with less weight and bulk.

Please read before buying, these shoes are awful

Globe Melbek Skate Shoes - grey/black
Dreadful shoes

-Super thin construction with no cushioning anywhere.
-Outsole near the toe box was torn to shreds and the sole completely lost its grip within two sessions.
-Super shallow collar so my heels kept slipping out and I kept rolling my ankles: this was the biggest problem I had with the shoes that made them virtually unusable. I couldn't even push without my heels slipping out.
-Cheap insole that bleeds dye on socks and ended up brushing my heels every time I skated them (I've never bruised my heels skating before).
-Another small gripe was that the tongue kept folding on itself so it made the shoe even more uncomfortable.

It's shameful that they try to retail these at $80. Never gotten rid of a pair of shoes so fast.

If you're entertained by low profile/thin shoes go for Last Resorts.
