Rockstar Energy Open 2025 | Recap
Film/Edit: Tim McCoy
Portland is a skateboarding mecca. DIY’s everywhere, great spots, and a rich skate history. Every summer; skaters flock from all over the world to film in the streets, and try to leave their mark at our gargantuan concrete skateparks. Despite the obvious draw, it’s still rare that Portland gets to host a major skateboard competition. Last weekend, Rockstar Energy gave the people what they wanted, bringing the RSEO to Portland’s SW waterfront for the second summer in a row. The people came out in droves to watch some of their favorite pro’s battle it out for the podium spots in Street and Park. We saw a looot of kickflip back lips and backside 540s, but who’s really complaining? The vibes were immaculate, and the weather held up. Watch the video above to see the RSEO through the eyes of Tactics, and head over to the Platfrm to watch the full event livestream.
