The New Balance Numeric 440v2 Skate Shoes keep the lineage of New Balance's heritage of '70s-style running shoes alive. An upgraded version of the 440, the upper is constructed of dual layers in high wear areas for increased durability and features a higher collar for ankle protection while its breathable mesh panels keep your feet cool. Its C-Cap® Midsole absorbs impact and delivers optimum board feel. The Ortholite® insole provides added impact protection and internal tongue straps keep the breathable mesh tongue firmly in place for stability and comfort.

Cupsole - Durable and shock-absorbing to provide the best impact protection against hard landings. Cupsoles generally last longer than a vulcanized sole but don't provide as much flexibility and board feel right out of the box.
Mesh Tongue - Allows for greater breathability which means your feet feel better while you're shredding that 'crete.
Multi-Layered Toe Cap - Multiple layers adds durability so you can skate your new shoes even longer.
Ndurance® Upper - Coated suede feels and skates like regular suede but is significantly more durable. This equates to 20% longer lifespan for your shoes.

The actual bottom sole?
Thats the weak spot.
I burnt three them in roughly a month.
Grip toe is this shoes kryptonite. The gum sole at the toe and around the ball of the foot started going bald in a week.
But! Theyre so good,Im going to break my heart all over again.
Next time Ill see about getting a different sole color.
