Designed in collaboration with California-based skateboard company, Numbers Edition, these sleek skate shoes are built with durability and performance in mind. A reinforced rubber heel wrap ensures supreme heel flip control and increased support, while a lightweight mesh tongue increases breathability to keep your feet comfortable. Flexibility and boardfeel are accentuated greatly thanks to the vulcanized midsole wrap. Adidas and Numbers are backed by decades of experience in the skate industry so you know you'll be getting a solid shoe built to last.

Primary Upper Materials
  • Suede
  • Internal Mesh Bootie
  • Herringbone Tread
  • Lightweight Mesh Tongue
  • Molded TPU Heel Clip

Cupsole - Cupsoles are durable, well-cushioned and provide the best impact protection against hard landings. The sole consists of a single rubber layer, reinforced with glue then stitched to the upper. Cupsoles generally last longer than vulcanized soles, but don't provide as much flexibility and board feel right out of the box.

Internal Mesh Bootie - High comfort and a responsive fit.

Herringbone Tread - Creates amazing grip and board control.

Lightweight Mesh Tongue - Increases breathability to keep your feet comfortable.

Molded TPU Heel Clip - For heel lockdown and increased support.

Adidas City Cup x Numbers Skate Shoes - grey five/carbon/grey one
I got these just because I love the colorway of this particular City Cup - nice grey with reflective accents with the clear sole. Honestly bought this shoe as a casual "pushing" shoe when I'm just cruising around town. It looks good and feels good. One thing I don't like about it though is that the outsole traction wasn't as deep as I liked it. I prefer the DEEP herringbone of the Lucas, but the herringbone traction on these were a bit shallow. Overall a good pair from Adidas
