Wheel Profile

Standard - Your classic wheel shape, it's not built to excel in specific scenarios like a narrow or wide wheel, but it's appropriate for most situations. If you're new to skating this is where you want to start.

Smooth - Smooth wheels have less surface friction than treaded wheels and are easier to slide.

Skatepark Formula (SPF) - Skatepark Formula wheels are made from a high quality urethane that was specifically formulated to resist flatspotting on slick or smooth surfaces while maintaining a higher rebound for a quicker response and a faster roll.

SPF wheels have a high resistance to abrasion without compromising hardness and slide ability. Skatepark Formula wheels grip better on slick surfaces and are almost impossible to flatspot.

Bones SPF P2 Skateboard Wheels
P2 shape. Graphic side of the wheel has a steeper cut to it so it locks into grinds better. Offset look to the wheel because of this.

Bones SPF P2 Skateboard Wheels - tiles (84b)
They are great. I prefer these for mostly bowl skating rather than vert. They are a lot heavier than the P5.

Bones SPF P2 Skateboard Wheels
I started to skate vert not too long ago. I have to say, bigger is better when riding a 13' ramp with a 15" wb board. I'll try the P5 another time. Saw Mike Crum used the Tony Hawk ones.
