Overview

For grip that lasts longer, try out Figgy's Dose shoes featuring a rubber compound called Formula 'G'. It's 15% more durable than traditional cupsole shoes. They also have a perforated spandex fit system which reduces swamp-foot. Plus, a full length EVA midsole for full shock absorption. Just like Figgy, these shoes are meant to skate everything.

Sole

Cupsole - Durable and shock-absorbing to provide the best impact protection against hard landings. Cupsoles generally last longer than a vulcanized sole but don't provide as much flexibility and board feel right out of the box.

Details

Formula G - Emerica made a compound that'll outlast the traditional cupsole formula. Formula G is 50% grippier than standard rubber and it's 15% more durable. G, what a great idea.

Flex Channel - Flex in your grip for natural movement without sacrificing durability.

One Piece Toe Box - Prevents blowouts and provides a better flick.

Triangle Tread - Emerica's Triangle Tread pattern provides maximum grip for more confident skating.

Die Cut Eva Insole - Ethyl Vinyl Acetate (EVA) insoles are a firmer material than you would find on standard orthotic insoles to offer better shock absorption while reducing the weight of the overall shoe.

One Piece Toe - A one piece toe allows the upper material to wear evenly, without worrying about blowing out a seam

Perfed Lycra Internal Fit System - Internal perforated spandex system that offers a better fit with less sweat.

Emerica Figgy Dose Skate Shoes - brown/black/white
These skate pretty good, and for the price, i definitely don’t have anything to complain about. Also, i can’t remember the last time i bought a new shoe that didn’t really feel like i had to break it in to be comfortable. These fit perfect and felt great first day at the park.

Emerica Figgy Dose Skate Shoes - navy/gum
Great shoe for skating. The flick is on point. The shoe is crazy comfortable. The shoe is as durable as it looks good and it looks really good. The smooth flick helps with all flip tricks and then some, this shoe is one to try and shred. Definitely got another pair after these....

Emerica Figgy Dose Skate Shoes
These shoes are a far shot away from the first ones. That's in a good way, the material, padding, and grip is a complete upgrade from the original ones. The first figgy emericas didn't last too long honestly. But these are amazing and I know emerica stepped their game up as far as quality.

16 years and ~100 pairs deep -one of the best shoes I've skated

Emerica Figgy Dose Skate Shoes
I've been skating mostly Adidas for the last 5 years, and thought I would continiue doing so. That was before I tried this shoe. It actually reminds me a little of the Busenitz ADV, which is one of my all time favorites. The Figgy Dose is a rather affordable shoe - but holds up like what you'd expect of a shoe double it's price. It has the perfect amount of grip, and the cushioning-boardfeel ratio is just where you want it to be. Had to size up because of the narrow fit - and my wide ass feet.

Emerica Figgy Dose Skate Shoes
Originally I stopped skating these after about a week and switched back to the original Figgys and gave these a two star review, citing the bulk and lack of board feel compared to the original shoe. I was expecting this update to look and feel like the original, just with better grip, and was disappointed because of those expectations. After hearing positive things from other skaters I met wearing the Dose, though, I gave them another shot with an open mind and found I actually liked them quite a bit once I got used to them and appreciated them for what they are: A well made, grippy, durable shoe, with great support. They take a little bit to break in and there's less board feel than the original, but you do get used to it. Then you feel confident skating in a grippy shoe that's gonna protect your feet and lasts a long time. I emailed tactics to see if they'd delete that two star review, but it hasn't happened yet. Wish they just let you edit them yourself.
