Overview

This shoe was made up to Andrew Reynolds' super high standards and is a true cupsole with a pour in G6 polyurethane midsole. A pour-in midsole means there's better bonding and flexibility at the bottom of the shoe, this in turn gives you the boardfeel of a vulc shoe with the support and cushioning of a cupsole. Then to top it all off, the toecap features a double-double sided layer of hot melt that bonds the panels together for an incredibly durable finish to this incredibly durable shoe.

Sole

Cupsole - Cupsoles are durable, well-cushioned and provide the best impact protection against hard landings. The sole consists of a single rubber layer, reinforced with glue then stitched to the upper. Cupsoles generally last longer than vulcanized soles, but don't provide as much flexibility and board feel right out of the box.

G6 Pour-In Polyurethane Midsole - A pour-in midsole means the foam is poured right into the cupsole in its uncompressed liquid state to stimulate better bonding and flexibility to the bottom of the shoe.

Double Sided Therma Welded Toe Cap - This bonds the panels together to help prevent blowouts and add significant durability to the shoe for a longer life.

Elastic Tongue-Centering Straps - Keeps the tongue from sliding down sideways while you're skating.

Triangle Tread - Emerica's Triangle Tread pattern provides maximum grip for more confident skating.

Emerica Reynolds G6 Skate Shoes
At first these shoes were hella stiff, but after a week or so it felt so good. The g6 pour in insole is really good. The grip emerica uses is the best emerica has had in a while. I was feeling a little suspect about the toe cap but it really is a solid toe cap with multiple layers of material. It seriously is a good shoe and it is holding up really well. Emerica is really stepping up there shoe game and I'm happy for that. Keep it up emerica ??????

Emerica Reynolds G6 Skate Shoes - black/white
These shoes fit true to size, also didn't take too long to get used to, coming from mainly skating vulcanized shoes. Board feel is pretty good too.

Emerica Reynolds G6 Skate Shoes
I've clocked over 30 years of skating and within this time ridden a variety of shoes. Vans, airwalks, Vision, etnies, dc, lakai, ipath, nike, adidas....well lots of old worn dogs in the landfill now!!
This year I've been skating a lot more, but I've had a difficult time scoring the right shoe. The narrow and light shoe trend has proven a narrow avenue to find my right comfortability.
####SCORE#### This shoe fits great. Comfortable and padded. Sole gives absorption and grip, and flex where it is needed. This shoe designer video walks through the shoe with such professionalism, (and I watched it after I had bought them). I bought and skated my 1st pair of black and white I bought locally from World Boards here in Montana, and then promptly ordered the blue/black colorway from Tactics.
For the first time I feel in a while I feel the most secure and in control of my board, with the nice padding giving confidence with anything I want to trick. Stylish all the way around. clean and tight.
I've tried on many shoes at the local shop and zumiez, before sliding this victory pair on. I was skating a few different pairs of nike sb and basic vans, all of those will be retired from my closet, and great to know who makes the best! Perfect fit, fits true to size, breathes, nice to skate out of the box, but a week later the shoe feels a bit more comfortable. They are medium weight. Thanks Emerica, Reynolds and Tactics!
