Upon first glance, these may look more like work boots, but the team at Emerica have a few tricks up their sleeves and collaborated with Reserve to create a heavy duty and fully skate-able boot. These, like the original Shifter skate shoes, were designed with help from the one and only Heath Kirchart. His skate skills and style blend to make this a highly functional skate boot. The cupsole construction paired with a G6 polyurethane insole absorb impact and add comfort. The leather upper gives these boots their dressed up vibe and was chosen by Heath himself.
Cupsole - Cupsoles are durable, well-cushioned and provide the best impact protection against hard landings. The sole consists of a single rubber layer, reinforced with glue then stitched to the upper. Cupsoles generally last longer than vulcanized soles, but don't provide as much flexibility and board feel right out of the box.
G6 Insole - A lightweight, high-rebound foam cushion insole to help absorb impacts from hard landings.
Triangle Tread - Emerica's Triangle Tread pattern provides maximum grip for more confident skating.
Gusset Tongue - Elastic gussets connect the tongue and the midsole, giving you a snug fit and keeping your tongue in place.
