It's not my favorite. I prefer MOB grip, but this does the job.

Jessup Skateboard Grip Tape Sheet - black
Everything you need in a griptape nothing you dont. I always preferred jessup over mob because I didnt like how much my shoes got torn up with mob. Jessup is a nice middle ground. Came back to Jessup after a stint with pepper. I love pepper grip but Jessup was a nice change of pace. Gets the job done.

Asked by Tim on 7/12/2017
Is it better to purchase a bigger size and then trim it to fit the deck? Also, would an exacto knife or utility knife work to trim it?

We would recommend ordering one that is wider than you board and then trimming it. An exacto knife or utility knife would work great. Cutting the griptape will leave scuffs or scratches on the knife so we would recommend using a blade don't mind getting scratched.

That means the griptape is 9 inches across and 33 inches long, which would be plenty for your 8 inch deck.
