The Nike SB Nyjah Free 2 is the culmination of vintage style and modern performance technology. While still using the same outsole, the Nyjah Free 2 takes inspiration from the Nike Air Zoom Spiridon by incorporating strategically placed breathable mesh panels to keep your feet cool during those hot summer sessions. Ghillie loop lacing keeps the shoe laces out of harms way, making them last through the entire life of the shoe.

Sole
Cupsole - Durable and shock-absorbing to provide the best impact protection against hard landings. Cupsoles generally last longer than a vulcanized sole but don't provide as much flexibility and board feel right out of the box.
Details
Complete Grip - Comes from sidewall bellows and tacky rubber outsole.
Nike Free in Forefoot - This technology promotes natural motion in the forefoot for the ultimate in comfort and flexibility.
EVA Foam Sockliner - Ethyl Vinyl Acetate (EVA) insoles are a firmer material than you would find on standard orthotic insoles to offer better shock absorption while reducing the weight of the overall shoe.

Very comfortable, I'd say go half a size bigger if you don't get to try them on first. This colorway is great, typically don't buy full priced anything but needed something that went well with everything.
So, 1st things 1st i bought my shoes for casual wear but as a skater i can tell the things i would love/hate about skating this shoe.
THE GOOD
fit- the shoe legit takes the shape of your foot and you will definitely feel one with your board and have a good sense of control while skating.
the look- they look amazing with any skatewear style weather you skate with the classic baggy look or new wave the shoes stand out for sure
THE BAD-
the price- let’s discuss the elephant in the room. foor nearly 100.00 its hard to skate these shoes knowing they will tear sooner or later. outside of nikes “free” technology helping the fit of the shoe... theres nothing extra extra extra special that makes me feel comfortable skating these and messing them up.
-the fit these fit RIGHT on size. meaning my toe is right at the tip of the shoe. i like this for casual wear but that would get painful after a few toe stubs skating. order a half size up
VERY SLICK - even on a casual wear these shoe bottoms are very slick and boarderline slippery.
no cushioning-
the shoes are very solid and feel hard. i couldn’t imagine jumping down anything and landing in these. they are very hard at the bottom and would require additional inserts for comfort. at this price nike should have addressed that in my opinion... unless it was a direct request from nyjah himself
overall these shoes are amazing and im so glad i got them! nyjahs my favorite skater and all tho im not skating these shoes i feel like im carrying my skate side with me wherever i go when i have them on
