Taping Between the Midsole and the Upper Adds Durability
Sole
Vulcanized - “Vulc” shoes are light, flexible and break in quickly. These don't provide as much foot protection as cupsoles, but they are preferred if you’re looking for good board feel in a shoe with less weight and bulk.

These are great. Love the extra rubber. I’ve read reviews that read they are more narrow in the toe than the OG which I do not personally find to be true as I’ve owned multiple pairs. I also like the way the taping makes the toe appear more flat than domed. They also have a softer lining around the heel (like the OGs) compared to the Pine/white/gum QS model released last summer. Great to skate in after walking around in them for a day. Just takes a little getting used to with the added thickness of the rubber taping around the toe.
