Details

MIPS Technology - The Multi-Directional Impact Protection System (MIPS) separates the shell of the helmet from the liner via a low-friction layer. When the helmet experiences an angled impact, the low-friction layer allows the helmet to slide relative to the head. This action dramatically reduces the rotational force from an angled impact and decreases brain damage.

BOA Fit System - The Boa® FS-1 is an adjustable 360 degree design that delivers an exact fit for you every time.

Fidlock Magnetic Buckle Closure - Seamless magnetic functionality lets you fasten your helmet fast with gloves on.

Oakley MOD1 MIPS Snowboard Helmet - blackout

The Oakley Mod 1 is by far the best helmet Ive owned, and Ive tried Bern, Smith, and Giro. This helmet is super comfy and looks great. Its warm but not too hot. The Fidlock is nice. The Boa system works great, holding the helmet evenly around my whole head. No pressure points or discomfort. Overall just a perfect helmet. Well done Oakley.
