I'm adding cyan Santa Cruz slimline rails, because I absolutely love this graphic and can't bring myself to gouge it up.
The only other change I'm making is switching out the stock bushings. I'm 6,2" 262 lbs, and it took exactly one ollie for me to damage the ones it came with, but that was something I expected. I don't imagine it would be an issue for a normal sized human.
You'll be giving up a lot of slide with these wheels, but for cruising it's more than worth it. It's unbelievably smooth on the street, and I bombed a hill on the first day and panicked because it picked up speed way faster than my other boards. It handles all kinds of pavement/sidewalks, etc... the only time I had an issue is skating over those yellow bumpy sections of sidewalk (tactile paving). My wheel hit a bump and I ate it so maybe don't try tpo ride over those on this board?
No complaints about this board whatsoever. It's awesome. I plan to get a VX as well, and between that and this one I'm covered for wherever I'm skating whether cruising my neighborhood or hitting the park.
100% ordering from Tactics again as well. I had a lot of questions before buying it and customer service was great, it showed up right on time, and the discount for first time buyers was appreciated.
Highly recommend both companies.
