Slimeballs are back! Santa Cruz found the original mold, the urethane formula, the "warpaint" graphic, the logo and the trademark. Same as it ever was in the original wheel shape and formula made in the 1980s.
The 97a Slimeball Vomits formula blend is poured in a reversible dead center bearing and no flex edge radius lip design, resulting in the fastest on command slide-able, slip-to-grip ratio wheel available. No chipping, no coning, no bearing seat stretch, no softening and no speed loss.

Features
Surface
Smooth - Smooth wheels come with a shiny coating on the riding surface that feels grippy at first, but wears away quickly.
Wheel Profile
Wide - More traction and stability at high speed so you'll be less likely to slip out of your line.
These wheels are good for rough and rugged roads. Roll over cracks, debris and little pebbles. They have the perfect grip and are easy to slide. Perfect wheels that can take abuse.
These wheels look cool but they are about twice as heavy and similar size wheels

Santa Cruz SlimeBall Vomits Re-Issue Skateboard Wheels
Had more than one set of these back in the good old days, was ecstatic to be able to get them again. Hands down the best skate park wheel ever made. Get yourself some for your favorite ride, you will not be let down.

You can use a 1/8'' if you'd like but it is still going to be cutting it close and going with a 1/4'' would give you much better clearance.
