The Spitfire 80HD Chargers Classic skateboard wheels are soft, smooth and promise lasting speed. Spitfire's 80HD formula prevents unwanted flex that occurs in other wheels of the same durometer. Essentially these wheels won't flex like most soft wheels, giving you the best of both worlds and a crazy smooth ride.

80a - Soft with plenty of grip. You'll be able to smoothly roll over rough surfaces without getting hung-up on cracks or small rocks. These wheels are slightly harder than the standard 78a and are easier to initiate into slides and drifts. They offer great slide control and are more durable, but won't slow you down as quickly as 78a wheels. Ideal for cruising, carving, freeride, and downhill. Also a good filming duro as its a bit faster than some of the softer varieties.

Urethane skate wheels generally range from 75a-101a, the numbers increase with the hardness of the wheel.

Wheel Profile

You may notice a discrepancy between what we designate a wide, standard or narrow and what the brands do. This classification is our opinion based on years of skating, as well as looking at the profile of the wheel as it compares to what we believe is a standard profile. You just have to trust us on this.

Standard - Your classic wheel shape, it's not built to excel in specific scenarios like a narrow or wide wheel, but it's appropriate for most situations. If you're new to skating this is where you want to start.

Surface Type

Smooth - Smooth wheels have a shiny coating on their surface that is commonly referred to as its skin or mold release. Smooth wheels are generally preferred for their grip and traction.

Key Features

80HD - These 80HDs are an exclusive 80 durometer high density speed urethane that cuts out unwanted wheel flex usually found in other soft wheels. These things are fast, soft and out of control.

Wheel Shape

Classic Shape - The original Spitfire wheel designed and shaped by the pros who ride them.

Spitfire 80HD Chargers Classic Skateboard Wheels - blue (80d)
They are softer and can ride almost over any pebble or surface. There is little if almost no vibration from the street/road They do fall apart faster because of the softer material in the wheel. But my feet and body hurts less after using them. It is a good trade off if you are in your late 30s and still skate.

Spitfire 80HD Chargers Classic Skateboard Wheels
These wheels helps me a lot getting comfortable riding since I can skate everywhere with these badass. It looks cool as well, I kinda miss my graphic since it's barely there anymore. Mine is 54mm and I have no problem so far learning my basic tricks. I can even do some slides in smooth cement!

Spitfire 80HD Chargers Classic Skateboard Wheels - green (80d)
Great effing wheels. They roll over the sketchiest of roads with ease and glide. The 54mm's also make the board a good weight, not too heavy, yeah buy them.

Spitfire 80HD Chargers Classic Skateboard Wheels - green (80d)
green is amazing, ride is nice, not as buttery as ricta clouds but in some sense feels more like a street wheel then ricta's also. soft wheels are simply put more fun and less work.
