The iconic classic that everyone knows and loves, but with a bit more meat. Vans took their Classic Slip-On, put it on steroids, and created a slip durable enough to take all the abuse you can throw at it.

The Slip-On Pro from Vans is more robust than ever with premium insoles that provides great support and cushioning. The Duracap quarter panel ensures this shoe isn't going to fall apart at the thought of griptape.

Vulcanized - “Vulc” shoes are light, flexible and break in quickly. These don't provide as much foot protection as cupsoles, but they are preferred if you’re looking for good board feel in a shoe with less weight and bulk.

PopCush™ - Vans' PopCush insoles snap back and won't pack! This proprietary foam compound was meticulously tuned and tested for impact protection, superior cushioning, and custom energy return. This upgraded foam performs better than Vans' UltraCush™ compound for all types of skating so you can skate longer and go harder than ever before.

Original Waffle Outsole - Made with soles twice as thick so they would wear longer, this original formula combines durability with flexy board-feel to keep all the Vans' fans happy.

Pro VULC Lite Construction - For intuitive control, 50 years of proven Vans professional vulcanized natural gum rubber outsole constructions deliver the ultimate in board feel, flex and traction.

Duracap™ - Developed and tested to withstand the abuse of the Vans pro skateboarding team; reinforcement is provided through rubber underlays in the toebox and ollie-area for lasting durability to save you time and money.

“Old Trusty” Best simple shoe ever.

Vans Slip-On Pro Shoes - navy/gum
I’ve been wearing slip-ons for years, I basically have them in every color. They’re great for skating transition, I prefer a harder shoe and mid-top or high top for flat ground, but the best thing about slip-on is the simplicity. They’re good looking enough to wear semi-dressed up, but skate great too!

Vans Slip-On Pro Shoes - (checkerboard) black/white (PopCush)
The Vans Checkerboard Slip Ons have been around for about 44 years. I have always felt they provided great board feel, but at the expense of my feet. Then, within past 15 years, Vans introduced the Pro version of most of their existing classics which includes a removable footbed called Ultracush. Other versions of the footbed were introduced later e.g., Comfycush and Popcush. This additional feature truly enhanced the experience of skating or walking in Vans. Now, I won't hesitate to buy Vans knowing they won't hurt my feet wearing them all day.

Asked by David Campos on 2/9/2020
What is the difference between popcush and ultracush hd?
Answered by Graig A (Tactics Employee) on 2/10/2020
popcush is Vans' new material used in the insole so the insoles don't flatten out or lose their feel as quickly as the ultracush.

Is the sole thicker than regular slip ons?
Answered by James D (Tactics Employee) on 6/13/2017
The insoles are slightly thicker, as they are the Ultra Cush HD insoles. Personally, these are my favorite skateshoes, and a huge reason why, is that the insoles still manage to provide a good deal of protection on the heel, as well as lots of boardfeel.

how does it fit? I wear a 8.5 in most shoes (8 in cons), should I get this one 8 or 8.5? Thanks :')
Answered by Graig A (Tactics Employee) on 6/16/2016
I would get what size you normally order in vans and be sure to try them on inside and if they do not fit to return them to us in resalable condition . Hope this helps
