The iconic classic that everyone knows and loves, but with a bit more meat. Vans took their Classic Slip-On, put it on steroids, and created a slip durable enough to take all the abuse you can throw at it.

The Slip-On Pro from Vans is more robust than ever with a new removable Ultracush HD insole that provides great support and cushioning. The DuraCap quarter panel ensures this shoe isn't going to fall apart at the thought of griptape.

Vulcanized - “Vulc” shoes are light, flexible and break in quickly. These don't provide as much foot protection as cupsoles, but they are preferred if you’re looking for good board feel in a shoe with less weight and bulk.

Original Waffle Outsole - Back in '66, Paul van Doren made the first soles of his new shoes twice as thick so they would wear longer. That decision ended up defining the company when the world's first skateboarders discovered how Vans' rubber Waffle Outsole let them feel their board while staying firmly connected to it.

Pro VULC Lite Construction - For intuitive control, 50 years of proven Vans professional vulcanized natural gum rubber outsole constructions deliver the ultimate in board feel, flex and traction.

Duracap - Vans shoes with Duracap feature reinforced rubber underlays in the areas where your shoes wear out the fastest. Durcap was developed and tested to withstand the abuse of the Vans pro skateboarding team, and gives you added durability even if you skate daily.

UltraCush™ HD - Vans' polyurethane-based UltraCush™ HD sockliner keeps the foot close to the board yet won't pack out over time, providing the highest level of impact cushioning.

Vans Slip-On Pro Shoes - black/white/gum
Never a bad choice. Good support for some hops and don't get too loose after wear like some other slip ons.

Vans Slip-On Pro Shoes - black/white/gum
Any Vans Pro model (era pro, slip on pro, authentic pro etc.) are the best value for skateboard shoes. They skate well, the soles last forever, the insoles are thick and provide enough protection and the toe cap and suede lasts a while. I will never skate anything other than slip on pros or era pros. I will say that the Eras offer slightly more ankle protection because of that little cushion that comes out around the ankle. The slip ons are still my favorite, and they keep their fit surprisingly well even though the elastic on the outside gets a little torn up.

Is the sole thicker than regular slip ons?
Answered by James D (Tactics Employee) on 6/13/2017
The insoles are slightly thicker, as they are the Ultra Cush HD insoles. Personally, these are my favorite skateshoes, and a huge reason why, is that the insoles still manage to provide a good deal of protection on the heel, as well as lots of boardfeel.

how does it fit? I wear a 8.5 in most shoes (8 in cons), should I get this one 8 or 8.5? Thanks :')

I would get what size you normally order in vans and be sure to try them on inside and if they do not fit to return them to us in resalable condition . Hope this helps
