The Smarty Form jacket provides both a fortifying outer shell with a trick up its sleeve. The Form is rated to keep you comfortable at temps as low as -5°F, which implies some pretty powerful warmth. But unlike jackets with heavy insulation built in, the Smarty features a zip-out/zip-in butter fleece jacket stretch liner to help you adapt to changing conditions. When the temps drop to frigid levels, wear the shell with the liner. For warmer blue bird days, remove the liner and rock the shell. So smart.
Smarty technology ensures plenty of warmth at the core without any restriction of movement. A strategic pocket array keeps everything organized and accessible without mucking up the jacket's sleek style. Engineered specifically so that the shell and detachable liner work in unison to provide an unrivaled comfort experience. A whole helping of other premium features like under arm vents and waterproof YKK zippers make the Form a great outerwear investment for a value price.

Fully Taped - Having outerwear with fully taped seams means that on the inside of the jacket all the seams are covered in tape to provide the most effective waterproofing. It can be considered a key feature if you live in a wet climate or are planning on wearing the jacket during heavy rains. The downside is that due to the full taping there is less breathability than you'd experience with critically taped seams.
Synthetic insulation is measured in grams, so a jacket with a 80g rating simply means that a 1 meter by 1 meter piece of that particular jacket's insulation weighs 80 grams. The higher the rating, the warmer the outerwear.
SMARTY® Layering System - A world-renowned detachable lining system that allows you to wear the garment in 3 different ways:
1) Keep the liner attached to its shell component for extra insulation and warmth
2) Zip the liner out so you can chill comfortably indoors
3) Wear the shell garment by itself for warmer, transitional weather
Death Grip Adjustable Cuffs - 2-way adjustable cuff tabs worn around the thumb or wrist.
Drop Tail - A drop tail helps prevent snow from sliding up your back.
Vader Vent at Collar - A jacket hood with a more technically constructed laminated and perforated front collar venting system.
Media Pocket - A jacket lining pocket for one's music playing device with two points of entry being 1) its internal zipper opening or 2) its exterior welt opening.
Jacket to Pant Interface - Connect your jacket to your pants for better protection from the elements.
