The 686 women's Parklan After Dark pants have a tailored fit for ladies who need to maintain their style on the mountain. That being said, don't think 686 sacrificed quality protection for good looks. With a 10k waterproof rating, you can count on your backside staying dry through most snow scenarios. Thigh vents come in handy when you find yourself working up a sweat, crack 'em open and chase that moisture away with a burst of cool air.
For a solid seal against incoming snow, pair these pants with a compatible 686 jacket via the jacket to pant interface system. Limping back to the snow wagon after a long day in the park? 686 reinforced the cuffs with Cordura to keep your pants from tearing to shreds over the asphalt. For solid snow coverage that won't blow your budget, ride with a pair of Parklans.

Critically Taped - On outerwear with critically taped seams you only have taping at the key points where potential leakage can occur. This is acceptable, or even advantageous if you live in a dry climate, if you're more concerned with breathability than dealing with wet weather then outerwear featuring critically taped seams is the way to go.
Cordura® Cuff Guard - Reinforced heel protection at the bottom inside lining of snow pants.
Horseshoe Hem - The upward curved shape along the back pant leg hem opening.
InfiDRY® 2-Layer Construction - 686 2-Layer InfiDRY® fabric is perfect for daily use in a wide range of conditions. Specialty fabrics are laminated and bonded to a Polyurethane (PU) InfiDRY® membrane on the underside of the fabric. This membrane blocks water and snow from entering your garment, yet is hydrophilic on the inside - attracting any moisture inside your jacket (sweat) and moving it through to the outside of the fabric where it is able to evaporate, thus keeping you both dry and warm.
For further protection, the laminated fabric is then coated on the exterior with a water resistant DWR coating to repel snow and water from penetrating the fabric. This creates a superior fabric with a one-way portal for moisture that is virtually impenetrable from the outside, yet allows your body’s sweat to evaporate and pass through the fabric from the inside out creating a more comfortable riding experience.
