in the 80s we called these grommets. somehow thats wer the term grom mustve come from like grom young skaters. even tho i know they call these bushings now and probably many did in the 80s also i have a hard time to stop calling them grommets. and i tried again to use stock and it just didnt feel right. so whenever i order from tactics wich is to much lol i usually throw in some bones grommets

I'm 240lb. I crush most stock bushings. Fit nice on my Krux. A little clicking noise, but that's pretty normal with hard bushings. It will break in. Bones are always great bushing replacement.

Bones HardCore Medium Skate Bushings (2 Truck Set)
Used to love these, but after switching back to stock Im thinking the love I had for these was coming from the people around me hyping them up etc. stock bushings have been working great and they came with the trucks. Burned through a set of these in about 5 months I dont even skate that much, so I can imagine a person who skates a lot wont get a lot of value out of these. Starting to flatten and squish out the sides. I only weigh 180. Dont believe the hype, buy em for yourself and see. Very little value, no longevity. Does make trucks seem snappier while they worked.

Because of the core do they feel softer than how their durometer reads?

The core is only on the top and bottom part and should not effect the feel of the durometer.
