I got these for some Indy Stage XI's. I'm about 35 lbs. heavier than the last time I skated Indys over 30 years ago(185 lbs. now.) I got these to help stabilize my trucks. There was a constant clicking sound when using the included washer. It was annoying. I tried other combinations, but ended up just putting the stock bushings back on. I had a long layoff from skating. After getting the feel for my board again, the stock bushings are fine.

Perfect amount of stiffness when I keep my Thunder trucks on tight loose to medium setting. Still turns well, but feels very stable/predictable to me. A little skate wax on the truck kingpins keeps them from clicking and creaking.

They fit perfectly on Indy’s as designed. If you ride ace you need to keep the bottom washer from the ace bushings on there in order to preserve the pivot geometry.

Because of the core do they feel softer than how their durometer reads?

The core is only on the top and bottom part and should not effect the feel of the durometer.
