Utilizing advanced materials (all stamped with the DRYRIDE seal of approval), rigorous testing, and team input, DRYRIDE continues to evolve their technology to keep up with snowboarding’s progression.
DRYRIDE 2L Durashell™ - Features technical weatherproofing and breathable properties in a buttery soft yet bomber package. Various insulation and lining systems can be incorporated to fine-tune the overall warmth, comfort, and breathability of the garment.
Critically Taped - On outerwear with critically taped seams you only have taping at the key points where potential leakage can occur. This is acceptable, or even advantageous if you live in a dry climate, if you're more concerned with breathability than dealing with wet weather then outerwear featuring critically taped seams is the way to go.
Down - Down is the lightest and warmest option when it comes to outerwear insulation, the only drawbacks with down is it doesn't perform well in wet conditions and it's more expensive. Synthetics will dry faster than down and are easier to clean, but they can't beat down when it comes to performing in very cold and dry weather.
Synthetic insulation is measured in grams, so a jacket with a 80g rating simply means that a 1 meter by 1 meter piece of that particular jacket's insulation weighs 80 grams. The higher the rating, the warmer the outerwear.
A fill power rating measures the number of cubic inches that one ounce of that particular down will occupy, so a jacket with a 800 fill power rating will be warmer than a jacket with a fill power rating of 500.
Magic Stitch Removable Waist Gaiter - The powder skirt can be permanently removed by simply undoing one stitch.
Lifetime Warranty - Burton Snowboards warrants all Clothing, Outerwear, Bags, and Luggage sold by Burton to be free of defects in materials or workmanship for the practical lifetime of the product. Damage due to misuse, abuse, accidents, neglect, and wear and tear that can be reasonably expected as a result of extended use over time, are not covered by this Limited Lifetime Warranty but may be repaired at a reasonable cost.
Jacket to Pant Interface - Connect your jacket to your pants for better protection from the elements.
