I mainly use these as risers but I haven't noticed I don't get stress cracks anymore!

Exchanged my old hard risers for these and I noticed right away that landings are softer. Obviously, the larger the shock pad, the softer the landing and even with these 1/8" shock pads I noticed a pleasant difference.

I don't use these because of Wheel bite or height issues. I just don't like bolting metal to wood. When I use the rubber shock pads my deck doesn't pressure crack.

Excellent... but don't fit Thunders...

These are excellent shock pads. I've been using them with Indy 139s for a few years. I prefer the feel and handling of no shock pad but my knees can't take the shock on a daily basis from the DC streets. I just got a set of Thunder 149s. The holes in the Thunder base plates are centered where as the on the indys the truck is set back towards the tail. I got a leather hole punch and created new holes so they would fit the Thunders.

Met my expectations.

The only problem I encountered was that the deck had a slight curve and these pads were squished out slightly due to the uneven pressure. But that would be expected.

Squishy

These definitely squish out from your trucks more than other riser pads. As a shock pad, they work pretty well. Expect to get longer hardware, even though these are pretty small.
