Wheel Profile

You may notice a discrepancy between what we designate a wide, standard or narrow and what the brands do. This classification is our opinion based on years of skating, as well as looking at the profile of the wheel as it compares to what we believe is a standard profile. You just have to trust us on this.

Wide - Wide wheels provide more traction and stability at high speed, so you'll be less likely to slip out of your line.

Surface Type

Smooth - Smooth wheels have a shiny coating on their surface that is commonly referred to as its skin or mold release. Smooth wheels are generally preferred for their grip and traction.

Durometer

80a - Soft with plenty of grip. You'll be able to smoothly roll over rough surfaces without getting hung-up on cracks or small rocks. These wheels are slightly harder than the standard 78a and are easier to initiate into slides and drifts. They offer great slide control and are more durable, but won't slow you down as quickly as 78a wheels. Ideal for cruising, carving, freeride, and downhill. Also a good filming duro as its a bit faster than some of the softer varieties.

Urethane skate wheels generally range from 75a-101a, the numbers increase with the hardness of the wheel.

Krooked Zip Zinger 80HD Skateboard Wheels
Got these in white 56mm and the 80a combo with the larger softer wheel (coming from 101a no name cored wheels) roll like champions. Paired with Bronson G3's and I can literally circle the complex with one push. They kick pebbles out and handle anything I throw at them. I'm heavier at 195 or so depending on my burrito intake that day and I can say that I am seriously glad I got these wheels. I can push to the park and still hit anything I could before with a smaller wheel no problem and I don't sound like a freight train rolling on asphalt. My feet and knees like it too. I'm going to experiment with other wheels though as the only thing besides the graphics going to crap in one session is that the cores seem to not fit the spacers perfectly but what wheel does idk but I will search for them anyway
