The Lakai Cambridge Skate Shoes keep it simple: clean low-profile silhouette, vulcanized construction, and enough tech under the hood to handle real skating.
The PARA-MOUNT outsole uses dual density rubber to absorb impact and cut down on foot fatigue, which matters on long sessions. The hex tread pattern gives you solid grip in multiple directions, and the arch and medial sidewall reinforcement adds durability without making the shoe feel stiff.
Inside, the DELUX-LITE sockliner uses premium foam with a deep heel and arch contour that holds up over time instead of packing out after a few weeks. The vulc build keeps the shoe light and flexible, so you get that close-to-the-board feel right from the first skate.
The Cambridge is available in suede and leather constructions, so there's a version for however you like to wear your shoes on and off the board.

Vulcanized - Vulc shoes are light, flexible and break in quickly. These don't provide as much foot protection as cupsoles, but they are preferred if youre looking for good board feel in a shoe with less weight and bulk.

Lakai Cambridge Skate Shoes - black/gum suede
I am loving the feel of these shoes on the board. The only concern i have noted is that the laces are prone to coming undone. I simply double knot them, and theyre fine. I learned this the hard way :)
