Lakai Essex Skate Shoes - chocolate suede
This shoe runs a bit large relative to other skate shoes I've tried, and the grip wore out fairly quickly (faster than Emerica Wino G6 slip-ons or Vans Sk8 Hi's, for instance). Not much in the way of protection compared to a tank of a shoe like Globe Sabre, though works fairly well as a somewhat minimalist shoe.
They fit my narrow feet very well. I was surprised when I noticed the glowing trim and soles. They look great.

Very comfortable shoes. i have wide feet, yet these fit pretty good still. Thick soles give good support. And thery are great looking shoes too.

Lakai Essex Skate Shoes
I bought the 7.5 thinking they would be a perfect fit, and they were way too big. Super comfortable and nice, but way too roomy to skate in. Definitely made for people with wider feet. But if you have skinny feet and a high arch, I'd encourage going half a size down.

Lakai Essex Skate Shoes - matcha suede
Comfy, nice design, great color. Feel like they aren't going to last very long. I can't imagine skating in them, they would be shredded quick and fall apart. But for just regular wear they are cool.
