On my 4th pair of 480’s now, this model is a bit stiffer underfoot then previous models that have a gum sole but after break in they feel great, remember to dab superglue along the stitching and they’ll last a while

New Balance Numeric 480 Skate Shoes
I wear a 9US and they fit like a 10US. I have the numerics and basic NB 480s. I can only wear an 8! I'm fine buying 8.5US street shoes, but skates are consistently a 9. This one plays the dischordant note, as they say. I will remove a star for the inconvenience NB caused me, but not for the merit of the shoe itself. I like 480 fine. Just order a full size down...
