Requested for by their skate team, New Balance introduces a mid-top version to the Pro Court lineup. This shoe provides the same board feel and durability as the Pro Court 212, with the addition of a higher cut collar for ankle protection and stability.

New Balance provides their highest levels of durability with N-Durance technology. N-Durance is a highly durable rubber compound applied to the shoes outsole and foxing tape, increasing its overall lifespan. A multi-layered toe cap adds an additional layer of durability the area most vulnerable to wear. Finally, a closed cell polyurethane insert provides superior impact protection and a snug fit.

New Balance made an instant classic with the Pro Court 213 Mid. This durable sneaker provides everything you need in a skate shoe, and looks good too.

  • Vulcanized
  • Multi-Layered Toe Cap
  • NDurance Rubber
  • Polyurethane Insole
  • Dual-Layer Construction for Upper Strength
  • NDurance Foxing Tape for Abrasion Resistance

Vulcanized - “Vulc” shoes are light, flexible and break in quickly. The sole consists of several layers of rubber, glued together then attached to the upper with rubber foxing tape. Vulcanized soles don’t provide as much foot protection or support as cupsoles, but they are preferred if you’re looking for good board feel in a shoe with less weight and bulk.

Multi-Layered Toe Cap - Multiple layers adds durability so you can skate your new shoes even longer.

NDurance Rubber - N-Durance is a highly durable rubber compound that increases the lifespan of this shoe's outsole.

Polyurethane Insole - Closed cell polyurethane insert absorbs impacts and provides a consistent fit.

New Balance Pro Court 213 Mid Skate Shoes - white/garden green
Then these shoes are for you. They're lean, they're mean, and they look slick as Rick. Toe cap and Ollie patch are CLUTCH. Naisu

Probably the best skate shoe of all time

New Balance Pro Court 212 Skate Shoes
At first I had a lot of doubt of this shoe when I first got it, it truely is timeless. The toe was a little odd to flick in but I think it was just the way the rubber felt. It honestly is a good shoe because it will last a very long time. The rubber was so well put in that it goes into the Ollie area. It's honestly an amazing shoe and it last for a long time. I'll probably skate nothing but new balance numerics because they are actually timeless and have good quality.

Killer shoes if you have wider feet

New Balance Pro Court 213 Mid Skate Shoes
I can't wear most NB, Adidas or Nike models because they tend to be too narrow, so I to stick mostly to Vans and Lakais. I tried these because I wanted to skate some mids and the because a couple reviews on here mentioned them being wider in the front with a snug heel. Was stoked to find that to be 100% accurate. Skated in them twice right out of the box. They broke in quickly, and feel great on the board. I definitely recommend these, especially if you have wider feet.

New Balance Pro Court 212 Skate Shoes - burgundy
Excellent shoes with great support. I have developed achilles tendinitis and while I'm no doctor, these have really helped in the past month or so that I've worn/skated these shoes. Great fit - wide at the toe and narrower at the heel - and keep me skating.

New Balance Pro Court 212 Skate Shoes - black
Could have been just me sucking at heel flips, but I wasn't able to pull the trick off for a while after first wearing the shoe. The grip on my board was stronger than I wanted but that only last a few days. The shoe seems to be paddle well for flip tricks. Pretty comfortable shoe but a little more padding in the insoles would be nice. I'll probably buy the shoe again.

New Balance Pro Court 212 Skate Shoes
So much to say... where to begin? (1) Best fit of any skate shoe I've ever worn - my feet are weird (and and kind of messed up) with 35+ years of skating and jumping off stuff when I was a child. These shoes are wide and comfy in the front but not too wide at the heels; the fit and comfort are second to none. (2) I have achilles tendinitis because I never learned to push mongo, and these shoes have actually been good for my feet and my heel; my tendinitis pain has actually improved though I haven't taken a break from skating. (3) These shoes have amazing grip and the sole lasts and lasts. Under my weight and constant shifting of my front-foot, my left shoe usually wears out faster than the right, but so far so good! (4) My wife can't tell I skated in these shoes - the foxing/rubber around the sole does NOT come off on my board (you know - leaving the white stripe on the grip tape) so I can wear these when we go out and she says "Those shoes are nice; thanks for not wearing your torn up skate shoes." (5) Others have mentioned the price point being $20 less than other brands - this was a pleasant surprise when you consider the quality, comfort and fact I don't have to get a separate pair to go out with my wife...
