This super comfy, vulcanized shoe is made with an extremely light material that still proves itself durable enough to skate. These kicks also feature herringbone tread for grip, lightweight EVA foam insoles for impact resistance, and a gusseted tongue for a snug fit.
Vulcanized - “Vulc” shoes are light, flexible and break in quickly. The sole consists of several layers of rubber, glued together then attached to the upper with rubber foxing tape. Vulcanized soles don’t provide as much foot protection or support as cupsoles, but they are preferred if you’re looking for good board feel in a shoe with less weight and bulk.
Herringbone Tread - The herringbone pattern is frequently used in basketball shoes for its ability to provide optimal traction on smooth surfaces.
Elastic Gusseted Tongue - Lets you wear the shoe like a slip-on when laces are removed.
EVA Foam Sockliner - Ethyl Vinyl Acetate (EVA) insoles are a firmer material than you would find on standard orthotic insoles to offer better shock absorption while reducing the weight of the overall shoe.
