Overview

The Nike SB Zoom Blazer Low Pro GT Skate Shoes are Grant Taylor's take on one of Nike's most iconic silhouettes, dialed in specifically for skating. The classic Blazer profile gets a proper skate upgrade without losing the clean look that made it a staple.

Under the hood, you get a lightweight vulcanized construction for that low-to-the-board feel, plus Zoom Air units in the insole for cushioning that still lets you feel the board. The suede upper is reinforced with high taping between the midsole and upper, which keeps the shoe from blowing out in the usual spots.

Mesh panels keep things breathable during longer sessions, and the herringbone tread pattern gives you solid grip on smooth surfaces. The elastic gusseted tongue is a nice touch too, letting you slip them on and off easily when you're not laced up.

If you want a shoe that skates well but doesn't look like a skate shoe from 20 feet away, the Zoom Blazer Low Pro GT is a solid pick.

Vulcanized - Vulc shoes are light, flexible and break in quickly. These don't provide as much foot protection as cupsoles, but they are preferred if youre looking for good board feel in a shoe with less weight and bulk.

Details

Herringbone Tread - The herringbone pattern is frequently used in basketball shoes for its ability to provide optimal traction on smooth surfaces.

Elastic Gusseted Tongue - Lets you wear the shoe like a slip-on when laces are removed.

Zoom Air Units in Insole - Independent Nike Zoom Air units provide incredibly thin cushioning and bring the foot closer to the ground for enhanced stability, especially during quick cuts and multi-directional movements.

After impact, the tightly stretched fibers inside the pressurized air units quickly bounce back into shape, providing a responsive feel and improved awareness of the surface you’re on.

Mesh Panels for Breathability - The mesh panels do what they're supposed to, keep your feet feeling comfortable.

Tactics Delivers, I've ordered from them about six times in 16 months. Nothing about it has been a disappointment.

Nike SB Zoom Blazer Low Pro GT Skate Shoes - white/black-white-white

My son goes through skate shoes monthly due to tears in the fabric. The rubber coming up high on the shoe has really extended the life on this pair and does not affect ability to perform tricks.
