Love the ride on the ricta's. Mostly skating at the park and these can handle any terrain though. Might not be able to ride anything else after this experience

I know that softer wheels tend to grip to ledges and rails for grinds. do this lock up?

These will still be fairly hard to slide with on ledges, but not quite as sticky as the softer version of this wheel.
