The Valley Fault Line is part of the Platinum series, a collection of downhill destroyers and sideways sliders. Commuter - Longboards for general cruising, ideal for experienced skaters and beginners alike. Never make the boring mistake of walking again!
Downhill - A longboard designated for downhill is crafted specifically for high speeds. Get your full face helmet and head to the hills.
Freeride - Featuring concaves that create pockets for your feet and shorter wheelbases, freeride boards are meant to make power slides as natural as your choice to skate.
Top Mount - The classic skate mount. Trucks are mounted from the top to sit flush with the bottom of the board for that proven ride and feel.
Micro Drop - Micro Drop skateboards give skaters more spots to lock in your feet for steep hills and long standees.
Symmetrical - If you ever think you want to ride your board backwards (freeride/freestyle) then a symmetrical longboard shape will help you with the learning curve. Other than that, it's all preference.
Adjustable Wheelbase - A board with an adjustable wheelbase will have multiple truck mounting positions so you can find what exact wheelbase works best for you. Move your axles in for quicker pop, increased agility, higher traction, and lower swing weight; move them out for greater stability and more lean.
Cutouts - Cutouts around the wheels provide the extra space required to prevent wheelbite.
Deep Concave - Deep concave is like a bucket-seat for your feet. It offers supreme leverage for slides and provides a platform in the middle for downhill riding when you want your speed tuck to be pristine for the whole heat.
9-Ply - 9 plies sandwiched together for solid stiffness and control. Ideal for heavier riders; this is one of the most durable and stiff constructions.
Maple - Cold climate maple from North America is the time-tested standard in skateboard construction. To make this deck, Sector 9 presses together plies of cold climate maple to give you a board that is nice, responsive and super durable.
