Need an extra layer to wear under your snowboard jacket? This jacket liner is made with 80gm of polyester insulation to keep you cozier than a cup of hot cocoa by the fire. It's lined with soft taffeta on the inside and coated with a DWR finish on the outside to keep you dry in case you end up with a little snow down your jacket.
Polyester Fill - Polyester insulation may not be as warm or light as down, but it's far easier to clean and performs better in wet conditions. If cost is a concern or you live in a wet climate, polyester insulation might be your best option.
Synthetic insulation is measured in grams, so a jacket with a 80g rating simply means that a 1 meter by 1 meter piece of that particular jacket's insulation weighs 80 grams. The higher the rating, the warmer the jacket.
Water Resistant Fabric - A DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish allows fabric to shed moisture and prevents saturation to keep you warmer. DWR also helps repel oils and stains which can affect the fabric's breathability. Clothing with a DWR finish is a must in snowy or wet conditions.
