Recycled Nylon - Nylon accounts for about 10% of ocean debris. By purchasing a product made with recycled nylon you are helping to minimize the growth of the 5.25 trillion pieces of plastic debris in the ocean.
Treatment
GORE-TEX® - GORE-TEX® fabric is incredibly durable, waterproof, breathable, and totally windproof. A single square inch of this fabric contains 9 billion microscopic pores—each 20,000 times smaller than a raindrop, but 700 times larger than a molecule of water vapor. Water can’t pass through the fabric, yet perspiration escapes with ease. You’ll find this next level molecular construction on all GORE-TEX® fabrics.
Seams
Fully Taped - Having outerwear with fully taped seams means that on the inside of the jacket all the seams are covered in tape to provide the most effective waterproofing. It can be considered a key feature if you live in a wet climate or are planning on wearing the jacket during heavy rains. The downside is that due to the full taping there is less breathability than you'd experience with critically taped seams.

Volcom L Gore-Tex Jacket - white
I was looking for a Gore tex shell, breathable and light but windproof. This is my go to when I run in winter in New England. I like that it is long and covers the butt. I wear Women's medium so I bought the men's large and it's great. I can layer as needed. The down side is it's very narrow in the hips (which guys don't have!) and a bit stiff.

Volcom L Gore-Tex Jacket - burnt red
Volcom has such good quality jackets. This jacket is a shell but performs like its insulated. It has chest pocket with access to media. It has a hole in the chest pocket for the headphone cord to fit through. I’d definitely buy Volcom shred gear again. I normally buy XL but decided to try the Large and it fits perfectly. I’m 6ft 175 athletic build. The large has room for layering too. Buy this jacket and be ready to have expectations blown.

Volcom L Gore-Tex Jacket
This is the perfect Gore-Tex shell. Has all the pockets and storage you need for a day on the mountain. I normally wear XL jackets with brands like 686, Burton, Oakley and Airblaster. I got the Large and it fits just as big as the XL in those brands. Im 6feet, 175 slim build. I also use this Volcom jacket over my bibs and it works perfect. The zip tech works well also.

Can't praise this jacket enough. For a mid-level price point, it goes above and beyond.
Fits great, I'm 6'3" & a large fits perfectly. Gore-tex keeps the wind and the wet out, snow wont even stick & just brushes off. Its also stylish enough to wear casually if the weather calls for it.
Only complaint is the cuffs on the sleeves do not have wrist gaiters, but the velcro cinch gets super tight.
