Altra Men's Lone Peak 9 Trail Running Shoes - navy

Love these Shoes for ling walks and everyday wear. They feel amazing, perfectly wide, and the zero drop is fantastic for your back. They're all I'll wear to work anymore, as I'm on my feet for 8 hours a day, and usually log around 20K steps by day end.

Altra Men's Lone Peak 9+ Plus Trail Running Shoes - gray

I've been eyeing this cult-favorite. Finally pulled a trigger when on sale.
True to size, maybe half size down if you normally wear narrow shoes.
Wide toe box is addictive. Zero drop forces you to stand straight up and and noticed immediate improvement in posture.
As a pair of trail running shoes- average. I prefer lighter yet little more bouncy cushion even at the cost of losing some footing. Durability is questionable- upper got more tearing than I would have liked after the first longish run(about 22miles in wild trail). I've never worn MaxTrac Lone Peaks from the past, but Vibram Megagrip seems to be working fine.
All in all, interesting shoes. I'm not sure if this will be my ride for the next UTMB, but time-insensitive trail run mostly on softer surface, this is a refreshing way to train my calves and achilles.
Excellent shoes for light hike and travel.

Im seriously not into these shoes. Ordered these thinking they were skate shoes. Horrible experience. Then proceeded to read this review left by Marc (tactics employee)?? Who spells their name like that..

Marc Im glad you found a shoe with a wide enough toe box for your swelling feet, but please go shop at REI instead. Why do I have to sift through all these dork boots to find a good skate shoe on this website. Valid question. Ill wait Marc, assuming you can answer this being an employee. When did tactics become this??

Thank you for reaching out! The Altra MaxTrac outsole is generally heavier and more substantial than the outsole rubber used on Altras "Via" (road-focused) shoes.
