Emerica The Hoban Skate Shoes - black/white/gold
Shoe is very comfortable, I would suggest downsizing a half size. Typically wear 9.5, ordered a 9 and they fit perfectly.

Emerica The Hoban Skate Shoes - black/white/gold
For a vulc shoe, this one actually has quite a lot of meat to it. I also feel like it fits slightly long, but its more prominent on my right foot. This isnt an issue on my other shoes, so I think maybe some qc issue. It has decent boardfeel but its nothing special. I think vans skate line has considerably more boardfeel. However, despite the slight dip in boardfeel, it doesnt translate to more protection. If you stomp a primo you are definitely feeling it. But otherwise a pretty comfortable shoe, even for chilling. Not sure exactly why but theyve been pretty good with not ripping the laces closes to my ankle (which doesnt have the lace protection feature), which I rip incredibly often in other shoes. You sit more on top of the sole in this shoe, as opposed to having it wrap around your foot more like you have in a vans. The tread wears away somewhat quickly, but its also insanely grippy. So much more grippy than a vans or blazer. Only shoe Ive felt with similar grip is the nb480. So if you want to be glued to the board, even with old grip, these will definitely do that. I usually try to get the grippiest stuff possible, but actually for once I personally found it a bit too much. If you like shoes like half cabs or the Rowan 1, these would probably work for you. If you like stuff like old skools, blazers, last resorts, something like the Dicksons would probably be a better fit
