Introducing the Silo from éS Skateboarding, an updated, slimmed-down and modernized version of their classic Scheme model. The original Scheme outsole returns to provide impact protection while the de-puffed upper allows for more flick and board control than ever before, all while retaining all the accents inspired by the 2000s classic.

  • Cupsole
Primary Upper Materials
  • Leather
  • STI Energy™ Foam Midsole
  • Thermothane™ Quarter Panel with Foam Emboss Detail
  • 400NBS Rubber Outsole
  • Herringbone Tread
  • Pull Loop on Heel and Tongue

Cupsole - Durable and shock-absorbing to provide the best impact protection against hard landings. Cupsoles generally last longer than a vulcanized sole but don't provide as much flexibility and board feel right out of the box.

STI Energy™ Foam Midsole - STI Energy™ Foam is an advanced formula of lightweight, high rebound foam that gives you more comfort and energy return in every step.

These skate shoes were just what I was looking for. Comfortable fit, perfect size and stay on with great grip and traction. I feel the board well and are so comfortable for all day wear.

eS Silo Skate Shoes - white/black/gum
One of the best colors eS put out for this model. Looks clean, skateable, comfortable, and durable. True to size and well padded without being a 2000s moon boot. If you want to try a more padded and comfortable shoe to skate in, then try these. For a cupsole, they are fairly flexible, yet still stiff enough for support. Insoles are removable and can be swapped to make these feel even better/more supportive.

eS Silo Skate Shoes - navy/white/grey
The Silo from eS is a modernized version of the Scheme, K2, and some other heritage models from the brand around the turn of the century. What this means is that they took the paneling, shape, concept, and supportive design cues from those iconic cup-sole shoes of yesteryear and updated them for how we skate today! The Silo has a combination of suede, mesh, and some plastic-like material (covers the mesh in the side paneling adjacent to the lace loops). This allowed the shoe to be flexible, fairly durable, and breathable. These shoes fit true to size, have a mid-range amount of padding/cushioning throughout the shoe, and are extremely comfortable. The rubber sole combined with the foam midsole is what allows the shoe to be comfortable, yet not mushy from being too soft. The pattern on the sole is the herringbone style, similar to the Nike vulc models. They're durable and grippy. You can get tech with these, you can jump down some big stuff in these, and you can definitely dial in your flatground with these. The flick and feel of the shoe as you skate it is amazing!

Pros: Comfort, fit, flexibility, padding, laces (dunk SB style), support, and skateability.
Cons: Insole is subpar and should be replaced with one of your choice from another skate shoe or an aftermarket one like Footprint or Remind (Tactics sells these) Second con is how the toe panel above the suede is all mesh. I wish this were suede, leather, or some thermothane screened material that they use on other shoes. The toe panel stitching sits lower than the Accel OG, so you may want to shoe goo/super glue the stitching/mesh within the first few sessions in them, so you can make these last even longer. Otherwise, the toe panel may split open kind of easy.

Overall, I highly recommend this shoe for anyone who likes shoes that are flexible and skate great but still provide ample protection!

eS Silo Skate Shoes - grey
So I took these shoes along with some walking shows to Disneyland. I wore the walking shoes day one at park, feet were hurting, back pain was bad , so day 2 I wore these and man what a difference, by the end of the day my feet were good my back was better then the day before (back pain is normal in my life ) so for these to keep me in the game at Disneyland says a lot , wore them to the park on day 3 same comfort same results , I know this is suppose to be a skate review but had to share this with you guys. I would say they fit true to size . Colors are sick goes with everything . Ppl notice the clear bottoms it’s crazy lol

eS Silo Skate Shoes - black
I havent bought a set of legit skating shoes in a minute. They are a tad narrow for my wide feet but I was able to find a sweet spot to relieve the tension. Now that they are broken in they are pretty comfy....I can go all day in walking in these....I dont know how the soles are as I have custom insoles. I am just wearing them casually so I dont know how they hold up when on a board.
