Baseplate Style

Forged - Forged baseplates are compression molded making them lighter, stronger, and more impact resistant compared to cast or poured-mold baseplates. Forging also eliminates the most common manufacturing defects and imperfections.

Axle/Kingpin Style

Hollow Axle & Kingpin - Hollow axle trucks cut down on the materials used in the axle, so your trucks feel lighter. Hollow kingpins further reduce weight while still maintaining strength in this critical area.

Non-Compatible Risers

Risers from the following brands are not compatible with the baseplates of these trucks.

Loaded, Paris
Sizing Reference

Note - Every skate truck brand represents their sizing a little differently, so it's easy to get confused. Take a look at this graphic and then reference the size chart.

Details

No Hang-Up Yoke - An enhanced yoke around the cushion seat takes the kingpin out-of-play on grind tricks like feebles and smiths.

Lifetime Guarantee - Covered under manufacturer lifetime guarantee against breakage defects in hanger/base materials or workmanship. This lifetime warranty DOES NOT cover broken trucks due to abuse or neglect, damage caused by any modification done outside the manufacturer's facility, or lost or worn out parts due to lack of hardware maintenance.

Independents r awesome. A little lower than the standards and don’t make the wheelbase as tight as the standards. Perfect.

Probably overkill for a cruiser, but built to last and lighter weight. Sometimes you just want to build it right and spoil yourself.

Independent Forged Hollow Stage 11 Skateboard Trucks
The axles always bend after like a few weeks of hard skating whether it’s on street or in bowl the axles always keep bending. I stick to the original Indy’s. No nonesense And way more durable even if it is heavier.

Independent Forged Hollow Stage 11 Skateboard Trucks - silver 144
I’ve had these trucks for a little over 2 years and they’re still pretty good. I really want to get to the axle before switching trucks but they’ll definitely be indys again. 4 stars cause I’ve replaced like 8 axle nuts and had to change the pivot cups and bushings once.

Lights vs Stage 11

Independent Forged Hollow Stage 11 Skateboard Trucks
These are great trucks. Well made and are noticeably lighter than the standard Stages 11’s. Two points I have though. These are lower than the Stage11’s by 1.5mm and the do turn differently. The hollow lights seem to have a sharper turn and feel more “carvey” compared to my Stage 11’s I have in my other deck. At first I thought I had these looser than I typically ride my trucks. Even with the Indy hard bushings (I’m 6’3” 220lbs) the carve caught me off guard at first. Just something to be aware of.

Asked by Jeremy on 7/11/2017
Any idea what the mounting holes are spaced at? I have a deck that the mounting holes are 2.5" apart and I think most trucks are shorter than that now.
Answered by Graig A (Tactics Employee) on 7/13/2017
These are the new sized mounting holes are 2 1/8th apart center to center. If you go up to the size 159 stage 11 they will have the mounting holes that would fit your board

Asked by Mat on 7/2/2017
Question about warranty; usually when my trucks crack I'll keep skating em till I need to get a new pair, but out of curiosity as that just happened to me today (the axle broke, just from ware and tare) does that disqualify me from warranty?
Answered by Graig A (Tactics Employee) on 7/6/2017
That would depend on how the axle broke and you are more than welcome to email pictures to [email protected] so we can review your truck and let you know if it is covered by warranty.
