Venture Polished Skateboard Trucks - polished/red v (5.8 hi)
Venture was pushing trucks out of the forge since the early days of skating or at least the '80s. They're made in the US and are still great. All the things you'd expect out of truck these do without any gimmicks. These particular trucks are not the lightest, but they won't be for this price. Just your basic hard-working, tough trucks. So many truck companies have come and gone while Venture keeps grinding away and keeping Independents honest.
I rode ventures for 17 years and once I turned 30 thought I had to switch to Indys. I never felt right on them, so after much debate and soul searching I went back, and I'm so glad I did. These are the best trucks.

Venture Polished Skateboard Trucks
I just purchased the Polished Venture 5.8's & they are absolutely awesome! Now that Venture is made by DLXSF distribution (makers of Thunder Trucks) the quality has improved drastically. In the last few years I have ridden Venture Highs, Thunder Highs, Krux K4 Highs as well as Reynolds Hollow Indy 149's, & these surely take the cake! I'm sticking with Venture for a longggg time! These are the perfect trucks for anybody who rides an 8.25"-8.75" deck. If you like High trucks & want the best quality, go with Venture 5.8's! Thank you Tactics for such a great shopping experience! Tactics is the best online skate shop I've purchased from yet! Grab these Venture's!
These trucks are perfect right out of the box. The turning is pretty similar to Indy stage 10s, nice and surfy. They are nearly the same weight as a pair of indys as well. I couldn't get along with them, unfortunately. I've been used to the height, weight, and overall feel of Thunders for 9 years and these felt like they pushed the wheelbase out a little longer requiring more deliberation for ollies. Just going to stick with what I know.
