Overview

The Lib Tech Lib Rig is Austen Sweetin's snow slayer and lover, representing the ultimate hard-charging resort ripping and powder-blasting shred rig. Sweetin is truly an all-terrain snowboarding powerhouse, meticulously combining his favorite geometries from Lib Tech's entire lineup with the brand's experiMENTAL design team this year to craft this board to perfection. It features a full-sized, floaty yet streamlined nose for superior powder performance, complemented by a switch-functional tail. It's also designed with a mild volume shift and short contact, so you can ride it 1-2 cm longer than your usual board.

Features

Core

Original Power Plus Construction (OP+) - 75% Aspen, 25% Paulownia - light, environMENTALLY nice, and strong.

Laminates

Bi-axial Fiberglass - This 2-way fiber orientation is engineered to provide maximum snap while decreasing chatter.

Tri-axial Fiberglass - This 3-way fiber orientation is engineered to increase snap and decrease vibrations for a smoother, more stable ride.

Topsheet

Eco-Sub Poly Top Sheet - Sounds technical right? It just means the top sheet is made from sublimated polyester material that's great for vibrant yet durable graphics, which means a long lasting image.

Base

Sintered Knife Cut Base - This highly durable base has excellent wax retention thanks to its high porosity.

About Lib Tech

Mervin Made: EnvironMENTAL Construction - Core materials are sources from fast-growing, renewable forest products. Water-based solvents used for cleansing instead of petrochemical-based solvents. All wood sawdust is recycled as a soil additive, plus scrap wood is donated to a local Mood Wood company that packages it as kindling and resells it.

Handbuilt in the USA - Every Lib Tech board is handmade by snowboarders with jobs in the USA.

1 Year Warranty - Covered under manufacturer warranty for 1 year from the time of purchase. Warranty includes structural defects only and DOES NOT cover impact damage, abuse, misuse or normal wear and tear.

Details

Magne-Traction Serrated Edges - Strategically placed bumps that create added contact points along each edge for increased grip and control in all conditions. Turn ice into powder.

Birch Internal Sidewalls - Rugged, lightweight, vertical end grain Birch internal sidewalls add pop and durability.

UHMW Sintered Sidewalls - A Lib Tech innovation that is twice as sintered as most industry sidewalls. This ultra high molecular weight (UHMW) material increases durability, response and control for easier riding.
