The Mini Hot Juice Mini wheels from OJ III are just as legit as the original Hot Juice wheels, just smaller.

78a - Soft and gooey, this is the most common durometer we see in the longboard/cruiser wheel world. These wheels have great grip for cornering and easily rolls over cracks, small rocks, and rough surfaces without tripping you up. When sliding, 78a wheels have a tendency to smear across the surface of the road, offer great control, slow you down rapidly, wear quickly, and leave thane lines. Ideal for cruising, carving, freeride, and downhill.

Urethane skate wheels generally range from 75a-101a, the numbers increase with the hardness of the wheel.

Wheel Profile

You may notice a discrepancy between what we designate a wide, standard or narrow and what the brands do. This classification is our opinion based on years of skating, as well as looking at the profile of the wheel as it compares to what we believe is a standard profile. You just have to trust us on this.

Wide - Wide wheels provide more traction and stability at high speed, so you'll be less likely to slip out of your line.

Surface Type

Smooth - Smooth wheels have a shiny coating on their surface that is commonly referred to as its skin or mold release. Smooth wheels are generally preferred for their grip and traction.

Great wheels, but not the same color green as the stock photo

OJ Hot Juice Mini Skateboard Wheels
I love the softness and shape of the OJ Hot Juice wheels for cruising on rough pavement but must warn others that the bright lime green color in the stock photos is not a true representation of the color of these wheels. They are more of a bright grassy green than a limey green. Since Tactics recognized the difference and offered to replace, I will still give a good rating - but if the color is important to you look elsewhere online for non-stock photos of the wheels before you purchase.

OJ Hot Juice Mini Skateboard Wheels
I got these wheels because I ride on really rough ground daily. They are really smooth on tough asphalt, but I noticed they get stuck on cracks that my 90a C-Cut Mini-Logo's do not, so I'll probably end up switching back. For a cruiser it'd be perfect.

OJ III Hot Juice Mini Skateboard Wheels
They're super soft and super fast. There are a few small rips from pebbles, probably, but nothing a little krazy glue can't patch up and fill.

I got the blue/orange swirl and sadly they've yellowed and lost a bit of their color, but they still feel amazing.

Asked by Awenam on 7/4/2017
can they silde well?
Answered by Graig A (Tactics Employee) on 7/6/2017
These are a softer wheel and are not intended for sliding really, more so for extra grip. It isn't impossible to slide on them but it will be a little difficult
